Andrea Wirth studied sociology and business administration at the University of Mannheim. After graduation she worked within the Advanced Product Planning division of Honda R&D Europe for 14 years.

Central to her role were the analysis of the market environment, trend research, in-depth investigation of customer needs, and the translation of the related insights into competitive advantages. As Senior Researcher in international development teams she created vehicle concepts and defined platform requirements during the pre-development phase.

She coordinated development processes targeted to the European market between Honda R&D Japan and Honda Motor Europe in London. In addition, she advised the senior management on the redefinition of the product portfolio and the product-brand strategy for Europe. She was responsible for the repositioning of the Honda Civic, which since its launch in 2006 has been the most successful Honda model in Europe.

Mrs. Wirth’s key focus as a consultant is market and brand oriented strategic product development.

Andrea Wirth speaks fluent English, French, and Spanish and has a basic understanding of Japanese.
