Dr. Gerd Lütjering
 
   
 

Dr. Gerd Lütjering graduated in Physics from the Technical University in Munich. Subsequently he did research the field of semiconductors at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Physics and earned his doctorate at the University of Stuttgart.

From 1997 to 2001 he worked as a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group in Munich. There he served clients in the electronics/ high tech, machinery, industrial supplies and chemical industry. His consulting experience covers a comprehensive scope of projects ranging from strategic and organizational to process topics (e.g. business process optimization, brand strategy, post merger integration, sales channel and partner strategies, e-commerce strategy, competitive cost benchmarking).


  In 2001 Gerd Lütjering joined the Communication Division of Siemens in Munich as project leader for business reengineering projects for Mobile Networks. He later became responsible for all top+ projects in the Cordless Phones Business Unit.

Moving on to Business Development, he focused on innovation management and technology partnering.
From 2004 onward he implemented an innovation project from the business development stage to market entry for home automation centered around cordless phones. As the director of the center of competence for this business he was responsible for product management, sales/partnering and marketing.
